Despite its age, Final Fantasy V Advance manages to keep things interesting thanks to its Job system and the vast amount of character customization that it provides. Unfortunately, it also requires a lot of battling to keep characters learning new abilities, and the frequent encounters are often tedious in their simplicity. It's a quality role-playing game and a nice blast from the past, but with a tired story and repetitive battles, some may find the old Final Fantasy formula starting to get a bit stale.
