The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Thanks to its adherence to convention, Final Fantasy III still provides the same quality mix of adventure and customization the series is renowned for. Yet it's also a victim of its own influence, with the recent Final Fantasy V Advance and countless other role-playing games across the past sixteen years further refining its defining characteristics. Restricted to being nothing more than some outdated concepts with a new coat of paint, Final Fantasy III satisfies fans of the series, but disappoints those looking for something beyond the basic RPG formula.
