Following last week's report from ELSPA, which revealed the U.K. video game industry to be up 23 percent in 2008, Chart-Track has revealed to MCV the best selling titles for the last year. In terms of individual SKUs, Mario Kart Wii outsold all other titles, although the exact unit sales were not disclosed. The top five titles were all for Nintendo platforms.

Looking at the all formats chart, EA's FIFA 09 took top honors with two million sold in the U.K. Mario Kart Wii, although limited to just the Wii platform of course, still managed to grab second place.
