In a surprise announcement, Bethesda Softworks has revealed that they will be publishing an all new game set in their Fallout 3 game universe. The game is called Fallout: New Vegas and will be developed by Obsidian Entertainment, who developed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, Neverwinter Nights II and its two expansion packs and the upcoming Alpha Protocol.Many of the Obsidian team members worked on the first two Fallout RPGs at Interplay's now defunct Black Isle Studios.The RPG title is due out for the PC and other platforms sometime in 2010. So far no other details have been revealed (although the game's title gives a pretty strong hint as to its setting).
