Earlier this week, Joystiq unveiled screenshots and a trailer that shows that Tri-Crescendo, the developers behind Eternal Sonata are working on a new Wii-based game called Fragile. The RPG game's storyline focuses on a young boy name Set who ventures into a post-apocalyptic world with destroyed cities, dark tunnels and the like. Yes, it seems like, along with games like Fallout 3, 2008 is going to be the year of the post-apocalypse (maybe because it's a presidential voting year here in the U.S.).

The game's official website, currently a Flash site written in Japanese does feature a short trailer with scenes from gameplay and a character, who just might be Set but not much more than that.

GameDaily News contacted Namco Bandai Games to inquire about more details and screenshots depicting the game. Regarding when or if the game would come to the U.S., a Namco Bandai Games representative said that there was no announcement "on this game coming to the U.S. as of now."
