ESPN Videogames has announced that former Stanford University standout Josh Childress will be the cover athlete for the companies upcoming college basketball game ESPN College Hoops 2K5. Childress, who plays guard/forward, was chosen in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, and is rather excited to be a part of the ESPN College Hoops franchise. "I'm honored to be part of ESPN College Hoops 2K5," said Childress. "In my downtime at Stanford, I loved playing ESPN College Hoops. The game brings together the things I loved about playing college ball - high emotion and fast action. The technology of ESPN College Hoops 2K5 is amazing. It does a great job capturing the essence of college basketball."
ESPN College Hoops 2K5 is currently on schedule to hit retailers this November and will be available for both the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
