The GameDaily One-Minute Review
I guess you have to strike while the iron's hot. At least, that's what Koei must be thinking. Dynasty Warriors 5 returns to the formula of hacking hundreds of enemies with a lone soldier while being able to upgrade with new weapons and buffing up the skills of you and your bodyguard. It's still a good time, and the new graphics and mode overhauls are going to appeal to the fans, but Dynasty Warriors 5 falls too often into the trap where it just feels like an add-on to the series, instead of a brave new sequel. Still worth checking out, though.
