The GameDaily One-Minute Review
In the past few days, I've operated a titanic Schleiman Tank, visited friends in Boingburg, and explored the tomb of Tootinschleiman! No, I haven't dipped into the paint chips again! I've just been playing Square Enix's irresistibly charming DS game, Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. This 2D adventure casts you as one of the adorable Dragon Quest slimes that must save his world of Slimenia from the nefarious evildoers known as...wait for it...the Plob. The game is chock full of all sorts of delectably filling plays on words, but beneath its sugar-coated exterior lies a solid and action-packed journey that features plenty of destruction, furiously enthralling tank battles, and bright and cheery graphics. You'll need to be a certain type of person to appreciate Rocket Slime's cheese-tastic dialogue, but if you can get past the s(UB)lime shenanigans you'll discover a wonderfully delightful game that features a really sweet single and multiplayer component. Just be on your guard whenever you're around that Don Clawleone. That guy's shifty.
