Tandis que les précédents épisodes de Kingdom Under Fire mettaient en avant l'action et la stratégie en temps réel et recréaient de façon réaliste des champs de bataille fantaisistes de grande ampleur, Circle of Doom est centré sur l'évolution d'un personnage avec un système de jeu et de commandes faciles à apprendre. Beaucoup de joueurs sont déjà familiers avec les mots Action et RPG, mais Circle of Doom déborde d'innovations et d'idées neuves que nul n'avait encore imaginées. Les joueurs exploreront de vastes donjons générés aléatoirement et affronteront des monstres qui pulluleront par milliers à l'écran et attaqueront de toutes parts, le long du sol, des murs et du plafond des donjons. Dans Circle of Doom, les combats n'ont rien à voir avec le style RPG traditionnel, où les points/nombres de dégâts changent tour à tour selon l'affichage occasionnel des effets magiques. Les joueurs sont obligés de livrer un combat acharné et de créer des combinaisons infaillibles avec des armes variées pour vaincre les monstres. Lors d'une bataille survoltée, tout ce qui fait partie de l'environnement peut être détruit et affecter les mouvements des ennemis. Parfois, creuser un trou dans le mur peut mener à un nouveau chemin ou révéler de précieux objets. (Les traditionnels tonneaux et coffres sont à jeter aux oubliettes). Les héros découvriront de plus en plus de méthodes dévastatrices et spectaculaires pour purger l'enfer, grâce aux nouvelles compétences et aux nouvelles armes, ou encore en créant leur propre arsenal en combinant ceux déjà existants. Statement from friends: "THE BEST MOBILE PHONE VIDEO GAME TRAILER EVER!" Question: How can you make a trailer of a mobile phone game using nothing but in-game graphics? A mobile phone is so small, the graphics are no way as good as a Playstation 2 or Xbox so can you do it without using LIVE actors or anything of that sort? What is the best way to approach making a in-game trailer of a game that can run at most 15fps on a 176x220 screen? How can you make something that people normally wouldn't care about appear completely amazing? That was the challenge and I believe that I have delivered with the creation of this trailer. If you're wondering how come you're seeing a few mobile phone game trailers of late then let me honestly tell you that it was in response to this trailer. Yes, THIS trailer was the one that kickstarted all other mobile phone in-game trailers. Enjoy! Finally, the DOOM RPG trailer has been surpassed. This is the best mobile phone game's trailer ever! Suprisingly, this one didn't take me long to do but I am very proud to have created it.
