New information on Before Crisis, Advent Children, and another title starring...well, that would be telling.

The latest issue of V-Jump is not only loaded with pictures and information on the upcoming Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but also suggests that another Final Fantasy VII spinoff is in development.
Before Crisis, the cell phone prequel to Final Fantasy VII, will allow players to choose between two main characters: one male, one female. The male, a former gang leader, decided to join the Turks after Reno caught him trespassing. On the other hand, the young lady just graduated from Shinra's military school at the top of her class, apparently quite adept with a hand gun.
As for Advent Children, it seems that Red XIII isn't the last of his species. While one would generally construe this as good news, there seems to be some doubt as to whether these newfound brethren are friend or foe. While the feature's release date is still unclear, so are the fates of two Final Fantasy VII veterans. Of the playable characters in the 1997 release, only Yuffie and Cait Sith have yet to be glimpsed in Advent Children. With no information one way or another, fans are left to draw their own conclusions.
It's the information near the end of the article that many will find to intriguing: Next to a silhouette of Vincent Valentine is a caption which indicates everyone's favorite ex-Turk will be starring in his own title. Could this have anything to do with last year's rumors of a Devil May Cry-esque game starring Cloud? Unfortunately, we don't know right now, but as production on Advent Children winds down, more details are expected to emerge.
