The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Digimon, or Digital Monsters, have been around for quite some time and have maintained a respectable level of popularity. Unfortunately, rarely have any game variations of the franchise made any substantial impact. Digimon World Data Squad continues that downward spiral of feeling like a knock-off gone wrong. The turn-based battles that make up the bulk of the game are tedious and boring, made worse by their constant bombardment upon the player. The story feels completely unimportant, and its telling by the main characters is too cheesy to make anyone care. Top it off with a drab visual presentation and dreadful voice work, and what we have is really bottom of the barrel stuff.

generalrainbow: Digimon World is not that bad of a game!

While I do agree that the menus and the battles themselves do take a while to load up, I have to say that I think this game is really fun! I am glad that I purchased this game and I feel that people should purchase this game if they are Digimon fans. I do not see why it has been rated so poorly.

i didn't heard of digimon for a long time like for 3 years i think and i was a beg fan of the anime so when this game was out in the market i bouth it and let me say this game one of the worst game of this year in ps2 because the old one was better and one more thing i thing the didimon games in ps1 better then this because this game from the 1 hour of playing make u heat it so i have to say is don't buy this game at all it just going to make u hate digimon that all and i'm going to my copy this game in ebay hoping that someone stuped to buy it
