Heavenly Sword

Releases: 9/04/07
Publisher Says: Cursed by a powerful ancient sword, a female warrior embarks on a quest for vengeance against an invading king and his army. With only a few days before death, can she triumph against overwhelming odds before the sword takes her life?
What'll Happen: Heavenly Sword looks spectacular, with its free-flowing heroine, skillful combat and beautiful level design. However, that doesn't necessarily mean the game will be a deep experience. How many levels will there be? Will the whole thing conclude in a matter of five to six hours? It'll be good, but also criticized for a lack of extras.
Final Score...From The Future: 7 (out of 10)
Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction

Releases: 10/2/07
Publisher Says: After saving countless planets from dreadful doom and earning intergalactic mega-celebrity status in the process, Ratchet and Clank have taken some well-deserved R and R -- again. Yet, Ratchet remains restless. An orphan of the universe, he has never known anything of his past, his family, or his Lombax origins. And no one, not even Clank, can fill that void.
What'll Happen: Insomniac will once again raise the coolness bar for the PlayStation 3 -- and probably just in time for the system's anticipated price drop. The previous Ratchet and Clank games were big hits because of their action and wondrous design. With bigger levels, incredible bosses, integrated online play and plenty of bonuses; this sequel should be no different. Expect this latest Ratchet adventure to be the greatest yet.
Projected Final Score...From The Future: 9 (out of 10)
