The release date of Devil May Cry 3 has been in question because of the fluctuation of release dates on online retailers such as ebgames and GameStop. However, the official DMC 3 site recently confirmed that the title won't release until March. Fans will no doubt hope that the extra time will help the "stylish action" game, unlike its predecessor, the critical and consumer failure Devil May Cry 2. This is the second major Capcom title to miss the holiday season, including Resident Evil 4. Devil May Cry 3 has also been given the subtitle "Dante's Awakening".

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, is actually a prequel to the first game in the series, before Dante had fully realized his his heritage and the demon powers that go along with it. In the game, you'll be able to customize Dante's fighting style. Players will be able to change on the fly between four weapons.
