Born Jay Jenkins, the rapper Young Jeezy, known for his "slow Southern flow" hit the hip-hop scene in 2005 and 2006 with two platinum solo albums, each featuring superstars like Jay-Z and R. Kelly. The rapper has also lent his voice to tracks by T.I., Lil' John and Young Buck and Christina Milian.
Jenkins has seen his share of troubles, the alleged former cocaine dealer was arrested last year for carrying a concealed gun without a permit - after an alleged shootout involving a few of his friends. He's also a guy with a conscience - after the Katrina Hurricane, he let New Orleans refugees stay at his home, and he also held an essay content for Atlanta teens, the winner took home $1,000.

Hey Jeezy, how's it going?
Good, good.
Def Jam: Icon is hitting the streets soon, and you're in it. How much time have you spent with the game?
I've been playing for the last couple [of days]. I think it's good. I think it's one of the more realistic games, you know what I mean?
So how much did you have to do with the game?
It kind of came up, you know what I'm saying? We just kind of put it together. I had to go out to LA to do the whole getting together thing.
Was it difficult? Did they have to like, scan your body...?
Yeah, yeah, all that. It was cool. It just took a long-ass time.
So what do you think of the final product?
For the most part, it turned out good, but it was like, people wouldn't know that it takes that much time for the voiceovers and all the other shit.
