MKR Group Sues Capcom Over Dead Rising
Talks between Capcom, makers of Dead Rising, and the MKR Group, owners of the Dawn of the Dead licenses, have apparently broken down. Now, it'll be up to the lawyers to settle this one.

Legal Battle Likely Over Dead Rising/Dawn of the Dead
Capcom has issued an initial piece of litigation in this brewing court case, saying any similarities "are based on the wholly unprotectable idea of humans battling zombies in a shopping mall."
