The visuals are sharper than the original game's, but the frame rate takes a hit as a result. Considering that some details weren't drawn out that greatly (like with the water and animation), there's no excuse for this. Volleyball looks choppy instead of running silky-smooth. The female models are dazzling as always, but the realism of their beauty is jeopardized by unrealistic breast physics. Programming each boob to bounce around like it has a mind of its own is a bit much, especially when tinkering with a woman's age. A 40-year old age setting will leave a girl with breasts that could knock someone through a window.

A pop-fueled soundtrack playing in the background and decent (if simplistic) sound effects work ok, but awful voice acting further soils the experience. The girls sound too much like stuffy models instead of dream babes. Case in point -- Helena, a beautiful vixen, is turned into a stubborn stuck-up chick simply because of her voice. Sit down with her at a poker game and you'll see, when she tells you for the umpteenth time "I accept your challenge!"

The game does contain a few extras, including a number of unlockable achievements, a stellar selection of swimsuits and accessories to dress up the girls, and online support via Xbox Live. However, whenever the staff hopped on for a session, it was like a ghost town, with very few people logged in for a mean game of "butt bounce" or tug-of-war. When a match finally started, the game lagged.

So much for paradise. Team Ninja's attempt leaves a strange feeling of being turned on and off at the same time. The mini-games blow, the Xbox Live support is rather poor, and the whole game suffers from exotic excess, trying to be more fashionable than fun. Save your money and go after something more fascinating instead -- you know, like an actual woman.
