Today, Activision announced that Joel Goldsmith will compose the soundtrack for Call of Duty 3. His work has been featured in Stargate: Atlantis, Kull the Conqueror and Witchblade. While Goldsmith has over two decades worth of experience in his field, Call of Duty 3 will be his console video game debut.
"Goldsmith is one of the most versatile and talented music composers in the business and we're excited to have him on board for Call of Duty 3," said Tim Riley, Activision's Worldwide Executive of Music. "Fans know to expect a 'cinematically intense' experience from the Call of Duty franchise - Goldsmith is the man for the job."
Call of Duty 3 will release on PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox and Xbox 360 in Fall 2006.
