In stellar master mode when trials have modifier requirements (ex: full combo song on dark, hidden) you can put the modifiers required on the player 1 side and then have the player 2 side set to whatever modifiers you like. You simply play the song with the controller or pad plugged into the player 1 side while looking at the arrows on the player 2 side.

So, for example the trial is beat a song on 8x.

1. Have both controllers plugged in, go to options and put the 1 player side on 8x and then on the player 2 side set it to whatever is most comfortable for you.

2. Put both sides on the same difficulty so they have exactly the same steps.

3. Play the song on the controller plugged into the 1 player side but look at the arrows on the 2 player side.

The game will still count the challenge as being completed!
