well malice, u will be able to do both carry around big guns and kill aliens. except this time u can see the pores of the aliens u kill and see ur big gun with extreme detail.
Malice, Graphics make the story line rich, they let you connect with the character on an emotional level. Go read a GI magazine and youll see that. Its reviews like yours that make democrats think games arent an art form and should be banned for reasons of sexual humor and mild violence. I personally give the game a ten from what bits ive seen. The guns and the killing look perfect (whats not awesome about seeing someones limbs bloddied to hell after you shoot them Malice?) and the story is compeling enough for RPG lovers world wide. Malice is just one of those guys who cant sit through condemded because hes to afraid of seeing the people being hit by 2x4's with bolts coming out of them.
This game is great. People like themalicewithin who sounds like he didn't even play the game because all he talks about is graphics. The Gameplay is way better than most of the FPS games out. Any vehicle is drivable any gun is useable and the graphics are amazing even if you don't have the best graphics card out. I have a 8600 GTS and it works fine. The cinematic scenes are a little choppy with my card, but the in game play is amazingly smooth. If you are a gamer than I recommend this game.
Right now my old 3ghz p4 even with the best agp card out just can't keep up with this game. Right now I'm building a new rig to at least run it well (very few computers out right now can run this thing on maximum and still have it playable). Graphically it is a truely amazing game. The visuals are sure to impress gamers and non-gamers alike. The gameplay is fun in my opinion. Although, I'd take this game with lame gameplay just to have the futuristic technology and the engine for other games to build off of. Your nanosuit has the ability to power the character up on demand just about any time in the game. You can go invisible, become stronger, run faster, enhance armor at seperate times. This is obviously a nice addition to gameplay as it lets the player choose how he or she wants to play the game. I agree with "themalicewithin" in the sense that, yeah, they intended to impress graphically more than anything. It's not an epic game like Half-Life. But I definitely disagree with malice on the comments about realism. To this day I have not seen an alien invasion. This game has a new take on this common sci-fi genre. And you want big guns? Look on youtube for the nuke gun on Crysis. You'll be pleased. I think it is done very well and I look forward to being able to play it all the way through with a new computer soon.
This game is terrible because the main focus is on the graphics, rather than the gameplay. When I play a game I don't care if you can see the pores on someone's face, I can see that in real life, but what I can't do is kill aliens or carry around big guns.
