Sci-fi clashes with modern warfare in a showdown spanning time and technology.

We pit sci-fi against the War on Terror with Crysis verses Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In one corner, we have U.S. Special Forces dressed in high-tech nanosuits fighting aliens and North Koreans in the future. In the other, we have multinational soldiers using the most sophisticated weapons available to fight Middle Eastern and Russian terrorist forces. Which will prevail, the future or the present?
Visuals
Although both games feature stunning graphics, Crysis takes things to the extreme with near photo-realistic environments. Although PC gamers need powerful computers to run the game, they enjoy water glistening with sunlight, lush jungle foliage and car windshields covered in dirt and grime.Winner: Crysis
Story

The alien invasion in Crysis makes for just as gripping a story as the intense battlefields of Call of Duty 4.
Winner: Tie

randommushroom22, you are such an idiot by every degree of the word, that I cannot even think of a word to describe you. Idiot will have to do for now... For one thing, Halo 3 is not the greatest game to ever come out, sorry to burst your bubble. Assuming that it and Cod4 are the only 2 shooters you've ever played aside from Bioshock, I'm going to take an educated guess and say you have no idea what you are talking about. For one thing, this article states that Cod4 has better multiplayer, so yeah, Crysis can't compete with Cod4's "xbox live" (ever consider that xbox live wasnt the only multiplayer service? and ever consider that on PC, you can host games and get a server browser, which is infinitely better than xbox live?). Who cares about availability for 3 different systems? You know what that means? That 2 of the systems are receiving a port. I would rather have one really good exclusive i.e. Crysis, than an average multiplatform (not saying cod4 is bad, it is good, but crysis is better). I can safely say that you have never even played Crysis. By reading your comment, I know for a fact the only system you have ever played on was Xbox which you only played Halo 2, then 360, where you played the 3 games i mentioned above. You think you are a gamer, and so does 98% of the xbox 360 community who are exactly like you. That's why I hate the 360 community because of people like you who think Halo is the best thing since sex, when really it is just an average series (although the 1st one was good) You've never even played Crysis, why not buy a PC, you could build one for $800 that could easily run Crysis. Yeah, not the $3000 that people throw around all the time. You have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about.

Xbox Live is not CoD4. Graphics in Crysis are better than CoD4... and being multiplatform doesn't make a game better. Some of the best games to come out this year are console exclusives, like Halo 3, Super Mario Galaxy, etc.. btw both games have heavy PC requirements. Crysis just happens to be heavier.

This is ridiculous! There is now way that Crysis can beat Call of Duty 4. CoD4 triumphs over Halo 3 without a doubt, but I don't think Crysis can compare call of Duty's xbox live, graphics, storyline, and availibility for three different systems. Crysis is only available for PC and it has 2 b a fast PC at that. I rest my case. LONG LIVE CoD4!!!!!!!
