The GameDaily One-Minute Review

It's amazing how far the Crash Bandicoot franchise continues to rumble on. Sony passed on it years ago, giving it to the folks at Vivendi Universal, and ever since we've seen attempt after attempt at recapturing his old glory. Crash Tag Team Racing isn't even close to the legendary Crash Team Racing from the PS One, but it isn't a stale afterthought either. Instead, it thrives on some inventiveness, especially in its gameplay, where everything from merging with another car for ultimate power to using chickens and dolphins as weapons comes into play. Nothing memorable, but at least it blows Nitro Kart out of the water.
