EA is literally giving away copies Command & Conquer: Red Alert, with Red Alert 2 also available for free for fans who pre-order Red Alert 3 before October 27.

On Sunday, August 31 at 12:00 AM PT, gamers will be able to download a free version of the original Command & Conquer: Red Alert game from redalert3.com. EA is also offering C&C: Red Alert 2 for free to those who pre-order C&C: Red Alert 3 before October 27.
Pre-ordering C&C: Red Alert 3 will also grant gamers several exclusive items. Gamers will receive a "Red Alert Retrospective," recapping the history of the Red Alert continuum, a featurette on EliteXC superstar Gina Carano, an exclusive multiplayer/skirmish map for C&C: Red Alert 3 when the game ships and exclusive C&C: Red Alert 3 desktop wallpapers featuring the game's cast, including Jenny McCarthy, Gemma Atkinson, and Kelly Hu.
C&C: Red Alert 3 will release on PC and Xbox 360 in late 2008.
