The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath brings peace through power with gigantic superunits and an equally over-the-top campaign. The introduction of subfactions, each with unique abilities and units, mixes things up without changing the formula too much. Starting from the end of the Second Tiberium War, players work to rebuild Nod's power and strive toward the ultimate goal of ascension. Although the short campaign creates almost as many questions as it answers, and some of the high-definition video sequences can seem a little hokey or confusing, it is no less a satisfying experience. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the expansion's turn-based Global Domination mode, which is very limited and can become tedious and frustrating, especially when opponents use superweapons to completely wipe out key bases in a single turn. However, the expansion's improvements, which include fencing to fend off engineer and commando strikes and new units to compensate for each faction's shortcoming far outweigh the disappointments. Ultimately, unleashing Kane's Wrath upon the world steps up the Command & Conquer experience and makes Nod an incredible force to be reckoned with.User Reviews
