City of Heroes Issue 11: A Stitch in Time gives players customizable weapons and the ability to visit the past. With the newly introduced Menders of Ouroborus help, players will "Flashback" through time in order to relive major events. Missions were ripped from the pages of the CoH comic book series and the game's established lore, and allow the player to become the hero. Flashbacks aren't relegated to the heroes; even dastardly villains will be able to pass through time and take on missions, like assisting Lord Recluse in 1964 during his early campaign to seize control of the Rogue Isles from President Marchand.

Utilizing the Ouroboros System, players can complete story arcs they might have missed (or out-leveled) the first time through the game. They can attempt these missions in a group (ala Task Forces) or solo, and can even repeat them with different parameters in order to earn special badges. The changeable parameters are: completing the mission in a specific amount of time; restricting the number of "lives" available, thereby limiting the number of times it can be attempted; making the enemies stronger, or making yourself weaker (with debuffs); restricting the use of inspirations, or not being able to use temporary powers. The game auto-exemplars players to the appropriate level to ensure challenges remain – well, challenging.

If that weren't enough (there can never be "enough") Cryptic will introduce an arsenal of customizable weapons and two new power sets. While the final number and specific weapon types aren't finalized (Issue 11 is currently on the Test Server), players will see such items as the battleaxe, tactical assault weapon, Nemesis rifle Tommy Gun, shovel, scimitar, longsword, gladius, compound bow, ninja blade and a magnum.
