Eidos Interactive's latest PSP game, Chili Con Carnage offers gamers a light-hearted action romp through Mexico. The game features lots of lowbrow humor as well as intense boss fights, making it one of the best PSP games in recent memory.

Players control Ramiro Cruz, a simple man living in Los Toros (a Mexico-like city). All seems fine as he celebrates his father's birthday, giving the old man a box of kittens. However, this party comes to an abrupt halt when a combine harvester bumps off his dad. This heinous act sets Ramiro on a path of revenge against the criminal masterminds behind his father's death.

Chili's game play features automatic aiming and easy to pull off special moves. For instance, diving out of a car and executing a point-blank head shot on a passing thug may seem impossible in most games (and probably in real life). With Carnage, this practice not only becomes commonplace, but a requirement. Players perform flips off walls, dives and Desperado-style maneuvers. Even the game's "Spicy Moves", earned over time, require a simple button press. One lets Ramiro fire off a Golden Gun, nailing headshots with each bullet fired (complete with camera zoom-ins on the targets). Another allows him to spin around with guns blazing, killing everything in sight.

All of this ties into the game's combo system. Gamers earn points by tying actions together, such as scoring a headshot and then running in to put a floating sombrero on Ramiro's head. Other special items become available; including a colossal Lucha Libre wrestler who rampages through enemies like a GameDaily staffer running through a game store.
