Chicken Little Review (GBA)

Did the sky really fall? Find out in our review of Chicken Little!

Being a celebrity is tough, especially when photographers everywhere you go are hounding you! Perhaps no one knows this better than Chicken Little, the newest character to grace a Disney movie and video game. Due to an unfortunate "incident" last year (telling the world the sky is falling when it's not is a really big deal!), poor Chicken Little is being followed everywhere he goes by photographers snapping his picture. In order to avoid them, he must follow secret routes wherever he goes, and rely on his trusty yo-yo to get him out of jams.

This game is chock full of fun adventures, as Chicken Little must do things like traverse through his attic to turn fuses on, walk to school (and avoid photographers and obstacles on the way), and play his nemesis Foxy in a mean game of dodgeball. He heavily relies on his yo-yo skills, which he uses to knock photographers out, as well as collect items that are too high for him to reach.

The game looks good, and Chicken Little looks just like he does in the movie. The worlds he plays in are very colorful, and his moves are easy enough to master. The only thing that may prove problematic to some is the music, which is the same bouncy tune throughout the game. However, if you turn the volume down, the game becomes much more bearable.

Chicken Little is a really cute, fun game that kids of all ages will enjoy. Once you check out the movie this month, definitely give the game a whirl!
