What the hell happened to Chibi-Robo? What appeared to be a fantastic and imaginative little game has turned out to be almost unbearable to play thanks to atrocious audio and monotonous gameplay. As a little helper bot for a seemingly dysfunctional family, you're supposed to run about their house completing various objectives and talking to toys, but the horribly designed characters and most importantly, the sleep inducing chores (tossing garbage into a can sucks) makes the game less than stellar. But the biggest offender is the audio. Not only is the music uninspired, but the character gibberish grates on the nerves and the sounds that Chibi produces whenever he walks are a new level of obnoxious. Combine all of this with a speedy day/night cycle that's constantly interrupting play and you have yet another disappointing Nintendo GameCube title.
