Symphony of the ***ht was named the best Side-Scroller of all time by www.GameObserver.com, and with good reason, it represents the very best of the genre in just about every aspect. It has some of the best gameplay around. Has a multitude of items (weapons, armor, potions, etc) you can find by defeating enemies. It has a vast amount of enemies, Familiars that can help you out, skills, you can change into various forms, magic, and special items that can produce many different effects. The game has an enormous amount of depth. The story might be a little weak, but let's face it, we're not playing SOTN for the story but the gameplay. It has two full castles to explore and various ending. Definitely one of the greatest games of all time.
