BiPolar Bear will "maul" anything with less than 11 life. When he "mauls" the Crystal Shards during the Final Battle, he doesn’t actually kill them but the game thinks he does, so they'll hang around for the rest of the battle (and after). As long as the Crystal Shards are left alive, they continue to try to attack players and BiPolar Bear continues to try to maul them (unsuccessfully). Weird.
