Activision and Treyarch announced today that multiplayer betas for Call of Duty: World at War will start in October for PC and Xbox 360. Those interested in participating in the Call of Duty: World at War Xbox 360 multiplayer beta, can register at callofduty.com or pre-order the game at any GameStop retail location or online.

"We are excited to share a sneak peak of Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer with the community," says Mark Lamia, Treyarch Studio Head. "The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can't wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch."

Call of Duty: World at War will release on PS3, PC, Wii, DS and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2008.
