The Salisbury Post reports that police have arrested 19-year old Bobby Jonathan Chambers on charges of involuntary manslaughter, after he walked up to his brother, 20-year old Elbert Leon "Trey" Chambers III, and shot him in the head with a semi-automatic Ruger pistol.

Police believe the brothers were re-enacting a scene they saw in a video game, with some blogs speculating the brothers were imitating a scene from Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In the opening scene, a terrorist leader walks up to your character and shoots him in the head.

According to Deputy Police Chief Steve Whitley, the brothers and other folks were at their residence last Wednesday afternoon, playing unspecified video games.

During their playtime, Bobby picked up a pistol, put it to his brother's head and pulled the trigger. He had checked the clip to make sure it wasn't loaded, but failed to realize there was still a bullet in the chamber.

Both boys were reportedly known gang members, so there's a possibility that video games had nothing to do with the murder. We will keep you updated as the story develops.
