Call of Duty 3 for the PlayStation 3 incorporates an armada of soldiers to shoot, vehicles to control and intense multiplayer battles, the same features that made Xbox 360 version a game you'd take a bullet for. The PS3 version suffers, however. The outstanding visuals shine, but the frame rate has a tendency to jump around. Using the SIXAXIS controller in combat takes some practice, particularly in the prolonged Close Combat segments. Even though it plays second banana to the Xbox 360 game, Call of Duty 3 is still worth heading back to World War II.
