EA's Boom Boom Rocket game, available through the Xbox Live Arcade service for Xbox 360, got an update today. Players of the rockets rhythm game will get improved visuals on their fireworks, support for guitar and dance mats, support for Japanese and Korean languages and a way to see what controller type those in the leaderboards used to get placed.

In addition, five additional songs spice up the blast fest including Eine Kleine Rochtmusik, Cannon in D, Sugar High, Sting of the Bumble Bee and Explode to Joy.

Current Boom Boom Rocket players can download the update and the five songs for free until December 16th and will have to purchase the song pack for 250 points. For those who don't own the game, the current 800 point version includes the improved features and the option to download the song pack for free.
