Majesco and Echo 3 Worldwide today announced plans to serialize the BloodRayne franchise in comic form. The first issue is set to debut this Halloween in conjunction with the release of BloodRayne 2 for the PC, Xbox and PlayStation 2. Future issues of the original, full-color series are planned for a quarterly release.

"BloodRayne has built a loyal following of fans and established herself as a new breed of action heroine," commented Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing for Majesco. "With a movie already announced for 2005, and now a comic book, we're thrilled to see our franchise expand into other entertainment mediums."
