Majesco has announced that BloodRayne 2 has shipped to retailers nationwide. The game, which will be available for both the Xbox and PlayStation 2, expands upon the distinctive features that were the hallmark of its predecessor - fast-paced acrobatic combat, supernatural powers, and of course the devilishly delicious lead character BloodRayne.
"Since its original introduction in October 2002, BloodRayne has established itself as a cross-over entertainment property that enjoys the support of a loyal fan base," said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing. "With enhanced game-play mechanics, graphics and engaging on-screen action, we anticipate that BloodRayne 2 will not only please current fans, but appeal to consumers new to the game as well."
BloodRayne 2 includes new in-game dynamics such as pole combat, rail sliding and advanced melee fighting with fatality moves. The game, which was developed by Terminal Reality, is built upon a modified version of the Infernal Engine and introduces threatening new bosses, all new environments set within a huge modern day city, a range of new supernatural powers and new motion-captured movements complete with soft-body physics.
BloodRayne 2 is rated "M" for Mature and has an MSRP of $49.99. You can find out even more about Majesco's latest by heading over to the official site for BloodRayne 2.
