Majesco confirmed recently that Bloodrayne 2 had gone gold. Developed by Terminal Reality, the game will release for PS2, PC, and Xbox for the MSRP of $49.99. It has been given a rating of "M" for Mature by the ESRB.

Fans of Bloodrayne may be surprised to find out she's been able to fit appearing in a game into her busy schedule. So far this year, she's been in an Evanescence music video courtesy of MTV2's Video Mods, appeared topless in the October issue of Playboy, and will even get her own movie staring T3's Kristanna Loken. Bloodrayne will be featured in her own comic book by Echo 3 called BloodRayne: Skies Afire this December (all those who preorder the game will receive a preview comic). The press release from Majesco highlighted their entire "multi-million dollar" ad campaign, showing that they obviously view Bloodrayne as hot IP, even if she only has one game under her belt at this point. It remains to be seen if Bloodrayne will be "the next Laura Croft".
