Things have been going rather well for Ubisoft lately and they just seem to keep getting better for the giant video game company. After confirming a sequel for the outstanding Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time a while back, the company got some great recognition recently as the Prince of Persia team took home the Excellence in Programming and Excellence in Game Design awards at the 4th annual Game Developers Choice Awards in San Jose.

"It is a great honor to receive the ultimate nod from our industry peers," said Yves Guillemot, President and CEO, Ubisoft. "These awards, added to the nine others we received from the Academy of Arts and Interactive Science earlier this month, are a strong tribute to our dedication towards innovation and quality. We now have the stimulating challenge to surpass our own high standards and to reach an even higher level of quality and creativity with our 2004 titles."

Additionally, other Ubi efforts where also recognized as Beyond Good & Evil and Uru: Ages Beyond MYST were also nominated for the award.
