it's been over four years since the Battlefield 2 first released on the PC, and it gained quite a loyal following. After years of development, DICE and EA have released patch 1.5, which adds the new map Operation Pearl to the game. That's just the start, because in addition to both widescreen and Novint Falcon controller support, the patch installs the booster packs Euro Force and Armored Fury. Both were once pay-for DLC expansions, and now they're completely free. Things don't get much better than that.
