We're suckers for great "collectors editions" of games, especially when they include sweet replicas of in-game items like Fallout 3's Survival Edition. Fans of the dark knight will have another set of tchotchkies to add to their shelves when Batman: Arkham Asylum releases in May. The $100 bundle comes with the game, a behind-the-scenes DVD, a full-color manual, a new downloadable map, a doctor's journal on Arkham inmates and oh -- a 14" BATARANG.

The batarang, a replica of the model used in the game, comes with a stand, so you can proudly display it on your desk. Who needs a stand, though? We're going to be chucking this thing around the office until someone calls HR.

Swag we want, please.

Pre-order the Batman: Arkham Asylum Collectors Edition

Warner Bros. also just released a new walkthrough trailer for the game, in which we see Batman kick a lot of poor, unsuspecting ass. Night vision means we can see them, but they can't see us. Also, remember how Gears of War's levels were littered with conveniently-placed chest high (take cover behind this!) walls? Apparently, conveniently placed gargoyles are the new chest-high walls -- we've never seen such an elegantly decorated warehouse, but if it means we can use our Batarang to grapple onto gargoyles and silently glide-kick those nefarious foes, we're all in.

Check out the video below -- it looks Batman-y (sneaky, close combat), but we hope every level isn't going to be Scout, Sneak, Attack, Repeat.
