Young basketball lovers now have a fun title to play on the Game Boy Advance! Backyard Basketball combines the exciting game of hoops with the adorable kids from the Backyard series and kid versions of famous NBA players like Yao Ming, LeBron James and Tim Duncan. Players can create teams, or choose from 30 NBA teams or a few special Backyard teams, and can challenge opponents to pick-up games or a Backyard Basketball season. In addition to the normal basketball fun, players can also unlock lots of secrets, power-ups and new courts, ensuring non-stop portable fun!

Backyard Basketball is extremely easy to pick up and learn. The animation is fresh and fun, with characters that look straight out of a kid's cartoon. Backyard Basketball was created for kids to enjoy, so the controls are easy, and the computer opponents are never too tough. Players can play multi-player via the Game Boy Advance Link Cable, or can play solo against the computer.

As with all Backyard sports games, the kids look cute, and you can create teams that combine them and young versions of some of your favorite professional athletes. The game is easy to play, and definitely provides great training for moving up to harder basketball games in the future. Backyard Basketball clearly spells out the rules of basketball, and gives you an easy, kid-paced court to play on so you can master the game. No matter how you look at it, Backyard Basketball promises a slam dunk of fun!
