Assassin's Creed finally creeps its way onto store shelves. Although the medieval sneak-and-kill game doesn't quite live up to "must-have" status, it's by no unique world to life, while still keeping one foot cleverly in the present. The in-game combat isn't bad either, if you can accept two things—there's not enough variety to the combat, and the extra effot to sneak around often isn't worth it. The guards can be real idiots, too. Past that, this Assassin cuts deep.User Reviews

i thought that it is trueley by far the best graphical and almost sound wise best game ever, but, yes a but. the misses some key points. all the assassinations are a little bit diffrent but for the most part it's repetitive. but don't get me wrong buy this game worth 60 bucks or more. i would exspect 20/40 hours of gameplay depending who you are

As I did love this game, the first couple levels seem as if they needed to explaing the missions better and why, you just run around doing every thing but dont have an overall mission per se . but after you get thru 1-2 levels it all comes into perspective and the game really becomes alive. The graphics are off the charts. I play on a 52 in 1080p sony lcd xbr4 which is amazing. Then if you add you system to the surround sound. I thought the people in the game where right their. Even if you dont like this style of game you have to play a least once for the graphics along. anyways great game!!

One of the best games ever. It's great that everything in the game is so interactive, being able to climb anything and everything. And the game is very realistic where if you kill a civilian your synchronization gets punished, as in real life. I have put hours into this game, going early into the morning from the night before because I cannot put the controller down. FANTASTIC GAME!!
