Today, Atari announced that the Alone in the Dark soundtrack will release on May 24, 2008. Made available by Milan Records, the OST was scored by Olivier Deriviere with performances by The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices choir. The game itself focuses on the adventures of Edward Carnby, who discovers the dark secret of New York's Central Park.
"For its first release of a video game soundtrack, Milan Records is very proud to be associated with such a classic series as Alone in the Dark," said Nick Bobetsky, VP Sales and Marketing, Milan Records. "This is an original and powerful soundtrack, which goes beyond what you would normally expect in a video game."
Alone in the Dark will release on PS2, PC, Wii and Xbox 360 on June 24. A PS3 release will follow later in 2008.
