Sega announced today the launching of a new Sega Mobile website. Subscribers to major North American mobile providers will be able to browse and try the more than 40 titles. Developed by Propane Studio, this new website was designed using customer feedback, and Sega hopes that the feedback from the site will properly direct them in which Sega property to next take mobile.
"From their first to their last interaction, our fans want to have fun with our brand. Our new site immerses them in an environment that lets them experience how popular titles will appear and play on the third screen of a cell phone," says Glenn Wissner, Senior Producer of Sega Mobile. "Propane Studio has been a stellar partner - transforming our brand strategy and developing this energized site, which combines the classic and ground-breaking nature of our titles with ease of use for browsing, learning and purchasing. The site not only promotes and showcases our new capabilities as a mobile publisher it confirms our dedication to Sega fans worldwide."
"Our goal was to build a web presence for an icon of electronic gaming that reflected its brand, values, and exciting titles leveraging the latest Flash, video, and usability technology," says Propane Studio President Neil Chaudhari. "Sega Mobile also needed a fast and easy content management system (CMS) to introduce new game titles and phones. The site builds a bridge between a popular brand and its entry into a new platform for entertainment."
