March to Glory's graphics look terrible. Some in-between cut-scenes look good, but the in-game action moves at a slow pace, with only a few characters on-screen at once -- no massive battles here. The game features a fixed camera perspective, which can be quite frustrating when the player can't see who's attacking from behind. The game also has a nasty arrow effect. Little black pixels blur the screen, instead of actually looking like an onslaught of arrows. The audio department, however, fulfills its end elegantly. Remarkable voicework and tunes from the movie pound through the PSP speakers with vicious authority. Only the song from the teaser trailer, Nine Inch Nails' "Just Like You Imagined", seems to be missing here.
Sadly, players have no reason to come back to this adventure. Those who put up with the recurring gameplay to see it through to the end will find little reward. No bonus items, no two-player versus mode, no bonus stages, no movie goodies... nothing. Once it concludes, it really concludes, leaving the player to turn to the movie instead.
Dedicated fans of the comic book series and the Zack Snyder film might find 300: March To Glory worth a rental. Everyone else, however, should just go see the movie and leave this game on the shelf. Players shouldn't have to suffer like those poor Spartans did.
Final Score: 4 (out of 10)
