The GameDaily One-Minute Review
After enjoying a great deal of success in Japan, Nintendo finally opted to bring the Custom Robo series to the US with this release for the Nintendo GameCube. Unfortunately, despite some cool aspects within the game itself, it's hardly a revolution. The number of parts available is staggering, and the multiplayer mode is rather engaging, but the game's story mode isn't that well developed, and the in-game action never really rises above average. A decent ride for kids and robot fans, but everyone else may want to opt for the good ol' days of Virtual On instead.
