The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Close Combat: First to Fight is a squad-based military shooter where you lead a four-man fire team into Beirut and engage the enemy in some aggressive negotiations. You can dole out orders, call for air strikes, or just line up a slime ball using your M16 and cap the poor sucker in the head. The AI oftentimes displays a high degree of intelligence and the game's graphics, while not as slick-looking as other Xbox shooters, are well done and will further immerse you in the experience. There's no denying that First to Fight is a competent shooter, though some moronic AI decisions, clipping, and the simple fact that games such as this have been done to death make it less than impressive.
