Xbox Titles for Download with Fall Xbox 360 Update

According to the Official Xbox 360 Magazine in the U.K. Microsoft's Fall dashboard update may come with a very interesting new feature: downloadable titles from the original Xbox library.

The magazine says to expect the update on December 4 with an initial list of games including Halo, Fable, Fahrenheit, Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex and Burnout 3. Each should sell for 1200 Microsoft Points ($14.99).

Other details on the Fall update are scarce, and interestingly the original OXM report now links to a "page not found" error. We've contacted Microsoft for confirmation on the report; we'll let you know what we hear.

[UPDATE] Microsoft has now made it official. Along with the system update on December 4, the company will launch "Xbox Originals." The titles mentioned in the announcement include Halo, Psychonauts, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Fable.

"This launch lineup is only the beginning, as Xbox 360 owners can expect to see a growing catalog of Xbox games to download and own over the coming year," Microsoft stated.
