Microsoft announced today a new detail of the Xbox Live Fall Dashboard Update. Members of the online service will now be able to look at the friends lists of other Xbox Live members in the Dashboard, similar to other social networking websites. Users will be able to adjust their settings to limit the access other people have to their friends list.

Among other things in the update is the expected release of "Xbox Originals". More details on the bi-annual update will come later this month, Microsoft said. The Xbox Live Fall Dashboard Update is expected to be available on December 4, 2007.
