Blizzard announced today that it's working on a way to completely upset the balance of World of Warcraft by allowing players to switch sides. Yup, you too could Benedict Arnold from the Alliance or the Horde, according to Kotaku.
Of course, the work that Blizzard's doing isn't exactly easy. With nearly 13 million active players continually leveling up, getting into battles and working with the their guilds, the process in moving a character from one side to another will take a bit of character reconstruction.
Could entire guilds switch sides? Your best buddy? It appears that WoW players may soon feel the effects of such a radical change.
