Play N Trade Opens 125th Store

Play N Trade today announced the opening of its 125th store. The store opening, in North Carolina, marks 25 percent growth in less than two months for the retailer. Play N Trade offers in-store tournaments, disc and console repair services, along with new and used games with contemporary and classic systems.

"The impressive growth rates we are experiencing exceed that of most franchise operations," said Ron Simpson, founder of Play N Trade. "We are continuing to strengthen our position as one of the fastest-growing franchises across all industries worldwide. This is in direct response to the robust video game market, a compelling business model, and outstanding execution of our go-to-market strategy. We offer entrepreneurs the best franchise opportunity to participate in a market that is projected to reach $18 billion in U.S. sales this year."

"Our franchisees have the ideal combination of a strong corporate infrastructure and individual flexibility, enabling them to respond to each customer and offer a unique, personalized experience every time," Simpson continued. "We provide comprehensive training and support to our franchisees, including site location assistance, classes on how to run a small business, sales, marketing, and customer service training, and also educate them about the video game industry itself."

Finally we have an alternative to the GameStop monopoly with it's high prices and horrible, horrible service. A franchisee in a Play N Trade has a vested interest in the customer and will give much better service than some punk kid pulling in $6 that doesn't care about your business. I just looked up Play N Trade's website and found that there is one in my city (the website for the one in Cincinnati is www.pntcincy.com) !!! I'm never going to GameStop / EB Games again!
